When a customer uploads an STL, OBJ, 3MF, DXF, or SVG file, our system parses the geometry in milliseconds — extracting volume, surface area, bounding dimensions, cut paths, pierce points, and dozens of other metrics that feed directly into pricing formulas.
For 3D printing, we integrate with production-grade slicers like BambuLab and PrusaSlicer via our cloud slicing infrastructure, delivering precise print time and material usage estimates without requiring the shop owner to touch a slicer manually.
For laser cutting and CNC, our DXF/SVG parser traces every contour, measures every cut path, counts every pierce point, and calculates total machine time — all before the customer even selects a material.
